I believe in making good trouble when the system gets comfortable with corruption. If federal agents are arresting dozens and charging schemes tied to organized crime, then the league should not circle the wagons. Suspend the people involved, cooperate, and rebuild the rules so a young player cannot be quietly pressured into feeding gamblers information. The NBA helped normalize betting as part of the broadcast, and it has to take responsibility for the incentives it created. Fans are not fools. They can handle the truth better than they can handle spin. Clean it up, and keep it clean, even when the money complains.
