Cute operation name, huh? I can already hear the panelists: "Operation Epic Fury, very surgical," they say, while a family in Tehran refreshes the news and prays their street is not on the map. "We hit missile sites and air defenses," an official smiles, "and leadership targets too," like it's a corporate reorg. Counterargument: Iran points missiles at civilians, so striking first is justified. Fine, then admit what you are doing: you are gambling with escalation, with Hormuz, with every worker who will pay more for diesel next week. The men in Washington and Tel Aviv get to call it strategy; the rest of us get to call it higher prices and more funerals we are told not to look at. You want applause for decapitation strikes? Get lost. Stop selling this damn violence as ethics and start explaining the exit plan, date by date, before Feb 28 turns into a season.
